Aisha Drake

(She, Her, Hers)

Certified Birth Doula | Postpartum Doula

BIO:

Aisha is a Certified Birth Doula through the National Black Doulas Association (NBDA),  and a Postpartum Doula, offering support from pregnancy through the postpartum period. She also provides traditional belly binding services, helping birthing people to feel held and restored as they heal.

Her journey began at sixteen, during the birth of her youngest sister. Advocating for her mother’s autonomy in a high-pressure hospital environment sparked a passion that would guide Aisha for years to come. That early experience—witnessing the power of persistence and presence in birth—set her on the path to becoming the advocate she is today.

Aisha has since supported families with compassion and clarity born from her own personal experiences: an unplanned C-section with her first birth and a successful VBAC with her second, both of which deepened her belief in bodily autonomy and respectful care. She is the doula she longed for during her own pregnancies steadfast, nurturing, and deeply informed. She serves her clients with warmth, cultural competency, and an unwavering commitment to creating safe, sacred spaces for birth and healing. Aisha is also a proud mom of two daughters, an auntie to three nieces, and a devoted dog mom.
