Celina Sargusingh
BIO:
After having her own children, now ages 15 & 20, Celina shifted career paths and began working in health care. Through her work in clinical settings, Celina has provided attentive care & compassionate support for many beautifully diverse human beings, at every stage of life.
Celina's training and certifications include: DONA International Birth Doula, Spinning Babies Techniques & Methods, Newborn Care Specialist trained by The Newborn Care Training Academy and Lamaze Childbirth Educator.
One of her biggest challenges as a parent was when she became a therapeutic foster parent for 2 children while she was pregnant with her first child. In what she refers to as, “Parental Boot Camp”, Celina quickly learned to balance nursing her late preterm newborn while caring for the specialized individual needs of three very young children.

Celina’s favorites in 3’s: Coffee, Maryland Crabs, and Tiramisu; Sunsets, moon gazing and hiking; Family, traveling, and hot stone massages.

What you can expect from Celina: Expect her to be an intuitive, active listener who will lift you up and hold you, through supportive encouragement, education, and fierce advocacy. Expect her to walk with you while you come to experience a deeper knowing of yourself and your amazing ability to birth and parent. Expect her to hold space for you to feel all the emotions inherent to the transformative and sometimes challenging experience of pregnancy, birth, and getting to know your baby.
